St.Peter’s RCMP are continuing to investigate a hit and run collision between a car and a cyclist that happened on Highway 104.
At approximately 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday evening, RCMP and EHS responded to a report of a hit and run collision involving a 65-year-old cyclist.
The investigation determined that the cyclist was headed east on Highway 104 when he was struck from behind. The vehicle did not stop after the collision and continued eastbound towards St. Peter’s.
The suspect vehicle has now been located and the driver has been identified.
RCMP are continuing to investigate and would like to thank the public for their assistance.
