An investigation that involved several police agencies led to the arrest of two individuals involved in a recent shooting incident in Millbrook.
Millbrook RCMP, assisted by Colchester County RCMP, Colchester County Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU), Integrated RCMP/HRP General Investigation Section (GIS) and Halifax Regional Police (HRP), conducted a joint investigation which led to the arrests.
In the early morning hours of January 2nd, members of the HRP Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a warrant at an apartment on Galaxy Ave. in Dartmouth. As a result, a 21-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were arrested without incident in relation to the shooting.
The two suspects are now in the custody of Millbrook RCMP. The woman is expected to be charged with Attempted Murder and Assault with a Weapon. The man is expected to be charged with Attempted Murder.
The investigation is continuing and further charges are anticipated against both.
