Members of the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division have charged a Westphal man with two counts of attempted murder following an overnight stabbing early Saturday morning in Westphal.
At approximately 12:50 a.m. on June 6, 2015, police were notified that two stabbing victims had arrived at Dartmouth General Hospital. An investigation by Halifax District RCMP and Halifax Regional Police revealed that two 17-year-old males had been stabbed in Westphal and both had suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Greg Dylan Bacon, 19, of Westphal has been charged with two counts of Attempted Murder, as well one count each of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public, Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Prohibited/Restricted Weapon, and Aggravated Assault. He is being held in custody for a court appearance on Monday, June 8 in Dartmouth.
