Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Horizon Court – Water Main Repair

(December 12, 2024) Halifax Water crews will complete an emergency water main repair tonight near Horizon Court, Dartmouth. From 9:00PM to 5:00AM, tonight water services will be off on Horizon Court. During this time, there will be reduced water pressure in the Crichton Park area.
From 8:00PM to 6:00AM, tonight there will be lane reductions on Highway 111 from Burnside Drive to Highway 118 interchange heading towards Woodside Park. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows.
Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
