Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that tonight the ramp that leads from Joseph Howe Drive to the Fairview Overpass, will be closed to accommodate installation of overhead light poles.
The ramp will be closed and crews will be on-site from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. A marked detour will be in place. Please note, there will also be a lane closure on the Fairview Overpass beginning at 10 p.m. and continuing through to 6 a.m. to accommodate this work.
Two-way traffic will be maintained, with occasional short durations of stop-and-go traffic.
Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes, whenever possible.
