Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – Halifax Water is still on scene at Lower Water Street near the intersection with Duke Street completing temporary repairs to a piece of its infrastructure in the area.
The left-hand lane on Lower Water Street and the taxi stand in the area are expected to reopen by 4:30 p.m. today. In the meantime, the right-hand lane on Lower Water will remain open to traffic, as will the sidewalk on both sides of the street.
Motorists may encounter some minor delays while this work is going on and are asked to drive carefully through the area or find alternative routes.
The Halifax Regional Municipality and Halifax Water apologize for any inconvenience this closure or the work may cause.
