Updated: Search continues for 37-year-old Erika MacLeod

RCMP release:

East Hants District RCMP continues to seek the public’s assistance in locating 37-year-old Erika MacLeod who was last seen at approximately 11:30 p.m. on September 18 in South Uniacke.

Since September 24, investigators have been following up on tips and information provided by the public.

On September 26, RCMP officers located MacLeod’s Chevrolet Traverse parked near highway marker 193 of Hwy. 104 in Kenzieville, Pictou County.

MacLeod, also known as Erika MacCormac, is known to frequent Pictou County, Glooscap First Nation in Kings County and the Halifax Regional Municipality.

Erika MacLeod has brown hair, hazel eyes, and distinctive tattoos on both hands. She’s approximately 5-foot-4, 100 lbs.

When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those who know them. We ask that people spread the word through social media respectfully.

At this time investigators are looking to speak with anyone who may have been in contact with or seen Erika MacLeod in the days leading up to her disappearance.
