Work on Henry Street between Cedar Street and Coburg Road will also continue today.

Pruning was delayed this week by several car owners who ignored temporary parking restrictions on Henry Street. Work on Henry Street was scheduled to finish today but will now have to resume on Monday, March 10.

Vernon and Henry streets will be open to traffic however there will be temporary lane closures and parking restrictions while pruning takes place. Pedestrians may also experience some delays due to temporary sidewalk closures.

Motorists are reminded to reduce speed when passing through the work area. Some temporary delays may occur and drivers are encouraged to use alternative routes. HRM apologizes in advance for any inconvenience these delays may cause.
