Vehicle break-ins in Bedford

At 1:30 a.m. members of Halifax Regional Police responded to the area of Windstone Close in Bedford to a report of a male breaking into vehicles. With the assistance of the K-9 unit officers located a 36 year old male on Royal Mast Way. He was in possession of electronics that had been stolen from several vehicles.

Officers were able to identify some of the property but are requesting the assistance of the public for further identification. The suspect was held in police custody charged with 2 counts of theft and possession under $5000, 2 counts of breaching an undertaking and 2 counts of breaching a recognizance.
