Halifax based brand Veronica MacIsaac Apparel couples history and tradition with contemporary structure, and demonstrates that tartan can absolutely become a stylish part of our everyday wear. Recently I had the pleasure of viewing her new Judges Collection, as well as her first Menswear collection at the Line Magazine event hosted at the Prince George Hotel. How amazing is the pocket and sleeve detailing on that jacket?! Check out more here….

Rooted in History and tradition, Veronica MacIsaac is putting a fresh spin on tartan fabrics. Once exclusive to formal events, and highland dancing; MacIsaac’s slim fitted trousers, and silhouetted sheath dresses offers consumers the opportunity to wear their families heritage in a modern contemporary way.
With all tartans imported from the United Kingdom, available in either wool, silk or poly/viscose blend; MacIsaac experiments with pleats, playful kickbacks, and ruffles. For more information and specific pricing make sure to visit the Veronica MacIsaac Facebook Page.
Born into a kilt making family, as well as being deeply immersed in Highland dancing when she was young; her clothes are described as versatile and visionary. Veronica’s collections have graced the runway of important Canadian fashion events (Atlantic Fashion Week, Ottawa Fashion Week, Mercedes-Benz Start-up Competition), Tartan fashion events (Dressed to Kilt, and From Scotland with Love in New York City) and been featured in widely-read circulations (Vogue Italia, Celtic Life magazine, Scottish Banner magazine, Flare Magazine, Fashion Magazine).
Well done Veronica 🙂 Thanks so much for having me, and thanks to Line Magazine for hosting a very fun event. Looking forward to the next one! Special thanks extends to Brent McCombs (AlterEgo Photography) as well for the beautiful photos from the event!
