Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that beginning tomorrow, Oct. 22, Veterans Memorial Lane will be closed to vehicular traffic entering from Robie Street, while crews complete permanent restoration of a natural gas trench in the area. 

The street closure will be in place on Thursday, Oct. 22, and Friday, Oct.23, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.  The street will be re-open overnight and for the weekend.   Traffic will be able to both enter and exit Veterans Memorial Lane from the Summer Street entrance. Traffic will be able to exit Veterans Memorial Lane at Robie Street by making a right turn only.

The municipality and Heritage Gas apologize in advance for any inconvenience this closure or the work may cause.
