Friday, May 12, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that work on a utility pole will necessitate the closure of part of Victoria Road on Monday morning.
Crews will be working on Victoria Road just north of the Ochterloney Street intersection from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Victoria Road will be closed from Ochterloney Street to Park Avenue. A detour will be in place and traffic safety personnel will be on site to direct motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists around the worksite, as needed. The road will be open to local traffic and emergency crews.
Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to take alternative routes whenever possible.
The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is underway.
