Halifax Fire crews battled a stubborn blaze early Sunday morning on Birchdale Avenue in the South End of Halifax, near Coburg Road.  

Residents on scene say the home was undergoing renovations, and it was not known if anyone was home at the time the fire broke out.  No injuries were reported.  Raw video below.
