An oil spill on Rocky Lake Drive in Bedford today had Environment Department authorities on scene assessing the damage.  The furnace oil spill began inside the basement of a home, and leaked outside into the city's sewer system.  Authorities are uncertain how much oil may have made it into a nearby lake.
