The commissioned video created by haligonia films captures the event Start Up Sunday. A competition created for the Halifax Entrepreneurship Expo in which five teams are given a random category and then have one day to come up with an idea for a business and a business model.
Five advisors from various professions circulate for the day helping the teams build their strategies. Then the teams present their pitch to a group of judges during the expo. The video was edited during the afternoon of the expo and screened that evening in front of six hundred people during the ‘DIne With A Dragon’ event. The winning team was then announced and awarded $10,000 prize money to get their business underway.
