Video & Photos: Suspicious Fire On Wyse Road

At approximately 10:00 P.M. Halifax Regional Police officers on patrol noticed smoke coming from an abandoned building on the corner of Wyse Rd and Pelzant St in Dartmouth.   RM Fire was called and the officers attempted to ensure no one was in the abandoned building. The fire was quickly extinguished and preliminary investigation indicates that the fire is suspicious in nature. Investigators from HRM fire and police will be on scene in the morning to conduct a more thorough investigation. No one was in the building or anyone injured during the incident.
