The note below comes via Andrea Cochrane, the coordinator for this district’s community health board. Full disclosure: I am a volunteer on that board (but the volunteers sought here are for a different committee, so no, you won’t be working with me!)

Capital Health has made a commitment to involve citizens in establishing the priorities and making decisions that matter to them and that affect them. This year we are taking a further step towards meeting this commitment by creating a panel of citizens to review our 2012-13 business plan and offer feedback on the plan from a citizen’s point of view. We are seeking nine community-minded individuals to bring a citizen’s eye and a citizen’s voice to our business planning. Our plan is to convene a group in November, and over the course of several months and a series of meetings, generate feedback from the panel to inform next year’s business plan.
The deadline for applications is Tuesday, October 11. Applications (resumes) can be emailed to participate@cdha.nshealth.ca
