Wagmatcook and Baddeck RCMP conducted a search at Wagmatcook home yesterday afternoon.
At approximately 4 p.m. yesterday, RCMP executed a search warrant on a residence along Highway 105 in the community of Wagmatcook.
A search of the home resulted in the RCMP seizing over 1.5 kilograms of marijuana, digital scales, drug paraphernalia and a small amount of Canadian currency. A 43-year-old male and an 18-year-old male were arrested in the home without incident.
Both men are facing charges under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act for Possession of Marijuana over 30 grams and Possession of Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking. The men was released from police custody and will be appearing in Baddeck Provincial Court on November 24th, 2014. The investigation is continuing.
