Walk and roll fundraiser delayed until spring

My apologies to anyone who went out yesterday looking for the Chebucto Connections walk and roll fundraiser. I was late in posting this message from organizer Marjorie Willison:
I want to thank you for your support in our effort to launch the first annual Chebucto Connections Neighbourhood Walk and Roll event. We were moved by the level of support we received from many people and partners both within and beyond the Chebucto community.

After very careful consideration, and wanting to fully respect and properly reward the support we have received, we have decided to postpone the event until spring. We simply found that the fall was a time full of such activities and community participation would be best maximized in the spring.
Many people have worked very hard to put the pieces in place for a successful event so we are very well prepared for a spring launch of this initiative.
Again, I want to thank you for your support, and I look forward to seeing you in the spring at the first annual Chebucto Connections Neighbourhood Walk and Roll!
