Want to open an outdoor community rink this winter? HRM providing financial support

The Halifax Regional Municipality has announced the opening of applications for its Outdoor Community Rink Program, according to a recent press release. The program, designed to support community groups in operating outdoor rinks on municipal properties, aims to enhance winter recreational opportunities across the region.

The program provides grants of up to $1,000 to selected not-for-profit organizations. These grants are intended to help cover the insurance costs associated with running the rinks, making it easier for community groups to participate in this initiative.
