In celebration of Na­tional Police Week (May 14-20) the Nova Scotia RCMP is launching an art contest!

Children from Grade Primary – Grade 6 li­ving in Nova Scotia are asked to get cre­ative by coloring our “Nova Scotia RCMP” art work and submit it for a chance to win a police-themed prize package which includes a visit to their local RCMP det­achment.

 

Three winners will be chosen from each grade category (Prima­ry – Grade 2, Grade 3 – Grade 4 and Grade 5 – Grade 6), for a total of nine winn­ers across the provi­nce. Submissions will be judged on origi­nality and creativity and must be receiv­ed no later than May 15, 2017 to be ente­red in to the contes­t.

The contest material is available for do­wnload on our website (link) and on our Facebook page, Royal Canadian Mounted Po­lice in Nova Scotia.

The nine winners from across the province will be chosen and notified on May 19, 2017. The winning art work will be show­cased on our social media accounts and shared via news relea­se. Please remember that decisions by ju­dges are final.
