RCMP release:
Eskasoni RCMP has obtained a warrant for the arrest of a man in relation to a sexual assault from March 2018 in Eskasoni.
Charles Blaize Young, 31, who was residing in Eskasoni at the time, is charged with Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference and Failure to Comply with Probation Order.
Over the last 5 years, RCMP officers have continued to make efforts to locate Young. In 2022, RCMP officers learned that Young was believed to be residing in Alberta, and the arrest warrant has since been extended to Alberta.
Eskasoni RCMP have been collaborating with Alberta RCMP, and efforts to locate Young continue.
