The Provincial Black Basketball Association (PBBA), is a non-profit organization that is committed to the promotion of the game of basketball within the Black communities of Nova Scotia and across Canada at large.
The PBBA Board of Directors are pleased to announce that this years Black Invitational Basketball Tournament will celebrate it's 38th Anniversary.
The annual Black Invitational Basketball Tournament draws participants (players and spectators) from around the world and has become a major event on the African Canadian social calendar. The tournament weekend is a homecoming for many old friends and families, and allows them to enjoy the greatest basketball in the country, while celebrating the richness and strength of our community and cultural heritage.
In addition to organizing and promoting the Black Invitational Basketball Tournament, the PBBA is also involved in various charitable works. The PBBA continues to make special donations within the Black communities to local churches, youth organizations and many other groups in our community.
