Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Highwood Street – Water Main Repair
(January 27, 2022) Halifax Water crews are on-site undertaking an emergency water main repair on Highwood Street, Dartmouth.
Water service will be temporarily shut down in this area. A detour is in place. Local traffic only from Canterbury at Highwood to Wyndholme at Murray Hill. No impact to pedestrian traffic.
Customers in the area may experience discolored water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
