Weapon charges laid after court x-ray reveals dangerous goods

A 23 year old male attended the Dartmouth Provincial Court house, 277 Pleasant St, this afternoon to attend to a personal matter. While his property was being inspected prior to entering the court room, the x-ray scanner picked up a pellet gun, small pocket knife and bolt cutters within his knapsack. He was taken in to custody without incident and will be released on weapons dangerous and carrying concealed weapons charges. There were no injuries during the incident.
