At 4:02 pm Halifax Regional Police responded to the area of 0-100 Brule Street in Dartmouth for a report for a male with a firearm. Prior to police arrival it was learned the male entered a residence on Brule Street. Members set up containment and a short time later several parties exited the residence. The suspect was taken into custody.
Members of the integrated Guns and Gangs obtained a search warrant and searched the residence where a sawed off shot gun was located and seized. A 29 year old male from Dartmouth is being held for court on Monday to face several weapon charges.
