complaint last night in Halifax.

At 6:48 p.m., officers assigned to the Central Quick Response Unit and
Patrol responded to a complaint of a male in possession of bear spray in
the area of Bayers Road and Micmac Street.
Three males were arrested without incident a few minutes later. When
the officers searched the males they located two canisters of bear
spray, a machete and an air rifle. There were also three kits bags
containing items that were reported stolen earlier this week from
vehicles on Cole Drive and Navara Crescent in Cole Harbour, Candy
Mountain Road in Mineville and Cole Road in Meaghers Grant.

An 18-year-old man from Dartmouth and a 17-year-old Halifax male youth
are scheduled to appear in court today while a 16-year-old male youth
from Sackville is scheduled to appear in court on July 14. All three
face charges of carrying a prohibited weapon in a careless manner,
possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed
weapon, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon and six counts of
possession of stolen goods. The 17-year-old male youth faces additional
charges of mischief and breach of probation.
