Weapons Seized in North Preston

Police seized three firearms last night in North Preston.

As a result of conducting a search on a motor vehicle act violation, police located a prohibited sawed-off 30-06 rifle and a quantity of ammunition, a BB rifle, and a replica 9mm BB gun. These firearms were located outside in the area of Willis Lane in North Preston, under a vehicle. At this time, the owner is not known.

Police are asking for anyone who may know the owner of these firearms to come forward and contact them. The investigation is ongoing by the General Investigation Section of the integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
