Weapons / Stabbing – East Division

At 330 am Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a stabbing, 0-100 Block of  Kennedy Dr, Dartmouth.  A 45 year old woman was stabbed inside a residence. She has been transported to the QE 2 with injuries that  are not believed to be life threatening. While this investigation was being conducted a second call came to the police of a break and enter in progress on Lakecrest Dr., a door was being kicked in. When police arrived they located the suspect from the stabbing. A male is currently in police custody. This investigation is in the early stages and the Integrated General Investigative Unit will be continuing the investigation this morning .
