Time span: beginning Tuesday night, ending Wednesday.
Remarks: A low pressure system over the Great Lakes will move over the Maritimes Tuesday night giving rain, heavy at times, to parts of the region. At this time there is high uncertainty among weather guidance concerning the rainfall amounts and where the heaviest rain may fall. While it is too soon to provide specific details, the potential exists for rainfall totals possibly reaching or exceeding 50 mm Tuesday night through Wednesday night for some locations.
Meteorologists are monitoring the system and additional information will be provided as the details become more certain.
