Accumulating snow tonight. Locations: Halifax County West and Annapolis County. Total snowfall: 5 to 15 cm. Maximum wind gusts: Northeasterly 40 to 60 km/h. Time span: beginning this afternoon and ending overnight. Similar storms in the past have caused: – hazardous driving conditions – cancellations of scheduled activities Remarks: Snowfall accumulations will be highly variable over short distances, a slight shift further north in the storm track will lead to higher snowfall totals.
