It's the weekend of one of the best craft fairs in town! 1. The ECMC (East Coast Momma Collective) is holding their Holiday Craft Fair at the St. Mary's Boat Club on Saturday and Sunday from 11-3. Featuring beautiful local handmade goodness, you'll be sure to find something for everyone on your list! HRM Parent will be on hand to do facepainting so come say hi! 2. Put on your Santa hat and lace up your runners for the Salvation Army’s Santa Shuffle, on Saturday. The 5K Fun Run and 1K Elf Walk begin at 10 a.m. at Alderney Landing. 3. Come one, come all on Sunday from 12-5pm. What better way to get in the festive frame of mind than by joining Art Gallery of Nova Scotia for their annual Gingerbread Sunday. Use your imagination to create a tasty house using graham crackers. AGNS elves will lay out lots of colourful tasty candies for decorating purposes and then you can take your creation home to share! 4. You have not one, but TWO opportunities to have your pets photo taken with Santa this weekend. On Saturday with Santa at the Halifax Veterinary Hospital at 6485 Quinpool Road from 2-4pm or Vetcetera Animal Hospital will be hosting their 7th annual Santa pics event on Saturday 10AM-2PM. 5. On Saturday head out to Sullivan's Pond in Dartmouth for their annual tree lighting and fireworks from 4:30pm -6:30pm. Great family fun!
