Weekend Wrap-up: Feb 16-17, 2013

1. Watch a demonstration of the art of African drumming with Dr. Henry Bishop, an instructor in African Canadian Studies at the Nova Scotia Community College. Everyone can take part in this interactive workshop at the Sackville Public Library
 on Saturday! 2. Luckett Vineyards "Luge & Bonfire" Bring your own toboggan, a helmet and your touque. A horse drawn sleigh will bring you back uphill to warm up at our outdoor bonfire where you can enjoy your choice of curry or soup, and a glass of wine or hot apple cider. All ages welcome! 3. Get the whole family out of the house for C100's Family Skate on Sunday from 1 - 3 pm. There will be lots of fun, prizes and of great music to get you in the skating spirit! 4. Calling all reptile (and kangaroo) fans! Little Ray's will be at Exhibition Park this weekend and you won't want to miss it. Featuring some of the most infamous reptiles alive today including huge alligators, giant snakes, tarantulas and featuring dinosaur bone exhibits including triceratops, tyrannosaurus rexes and much more. Though not a reptile, they are bringing Boxer a 6-month-old kangaroo to the show! 5. Opening today is Discovery Centre's exciting new exhibit Ends of the Earth: From Polar Bears to Penguins!
