1. Head to the Art Gallery for Pop Goes the Easel! A dynamic Sunday afternoon featuring an interactive Symphony Nova Scotia string quintet ensemble performance at 1:30pm, an "instrument petting zoo" with Long & McQuade, and hands-on art activities in the studio all afternoon. 2. It's the Halifax RV show! RVing is one of the top family based activities in North America and the Halifax RV Show is the venue where you can source out and buy your next RV! There will be people on hand from local campgrounds and destinations, RV dealers and more. Kids under 10 are free! 3. Join the C100 family for Skating Under the Stars at the Emera Oval on Saturday from 7 - 9 pm. There will be lots of fun and prizes for the whole family including tickets to Stars On Ice at the Metro Centre! 4. Been to the Fun Zone at Dalplex lately? The Fun Zone area includes a ball pit, two different size slides, hand-over-hand bars, tubes to crawl and climb in, a play house and more – it’s heaven on earth for kids! 5. Head to the Keshen Goodman Public Library in Halifax on Saturday, where people will become human books! Human Libraries provide an opportunity to connect one-on-one with individuals who have diverse life experiences, stories and knowledge. Just like borrowing a book from a local library, the user can, "check out" a human book for a 20-minute conversation in the library.
