Bring your kindergartners, infants and tots to this fantastic community event, the Intergenerational Craft/Storytime Hour. Spend time reading, doing crafts, and having snacks for an hour with the senior residents of Victoria Hall. 3. Get Inspired! Get healthy! Feel the energy! Taste the most nutritious food! Enrich your soul! Make 2012 Your Best Year Ever! Check out the OptiMYz Live Health Expo on this weekend at Exhibition Park for more than 120 booths of the top providers of health, fitness, and wellness products and services. 4. One Sunday a month the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia hosts Family Sundays . Drop in with your family and friends between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm for an afternoon of in-studio activities inspired by a specific exhibition or theme. All materials supplied. Inspired by the new winter exhibition, Material World, visitors will explore the world of 3D. Create sculptures using everyday objects as well as traditional materials. Build, mold, and assemble exciting artworks to take home! 5. Car Seat Safety Workshop, sponsored by Child Safty Link! Come learn common installation mistakes, how to avoid them and have a Children’s Restraint System Technician check your infant or toddler’s seat. ...
