1. A terrible crime has been committed and London’s most celebrated detective needs your help to solve it. Sherlock Holmes and the Clocktower Mystery is opening this weekend at the Discovery Centre.

  It’s a fun and interactive murder mystery like no other!

2. It’s pep rally time! Come cheer on Nova Scotia’s best young athletes Saturday as they get ready to compete in the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George, British Columbia. There’s a public skate to follow so bring your skates!

3. It’s Robbie Burns Day at Wentworth on Saturday. Wear a kilt and ski for free!  There will be a kilted race, entertainment, highland games for the kids and more. See you on the slopes!

4. Have you ever wanted to try snowshoeing? Well the Shubenacadie Wildlife Park has the snowshoes and wants encourage people of all ages to try this easy and free recreational activity!

5. Kick off family literacy week and get reading this weekend. Start a novel of your own, read some classics to the kids, have them read to each other – just have fun reading. Head to I love Books at Halifax Central to get you started!
