Weekend Wrap-Up: November 12-13

1. Calling all comic book fans small and large! Hal-Con is the largest event of its kind in all of Atlantic Canada, featuring actors, authors, comic book guests and many other great sci-fi personalities. 2. Catch your first glimpse of Santa and his elves at Dartmouth Crossing on Saturday. There will be North Pole Express train rides and pony rides too! 3. Do you have a child who has disabilities or difficulties with learning or communication?  Come to the ‘Arts Together’ playdate for children under 12 who have disabilities, or difficulties with learning or communication, and their families. The Wilderbeats will be there to put on a show, always a fun time. 4. The Backyardigans are in town! join Pablo, Tyrone, Uniqua, Tasha and Austin on their “Quest for the Extra Ordinary Aliens” .  It’s an adventure that leads families on a heroic quest through the whimsical escapades of The Backyardigans right here in Halifax at the Rebecca Cohn Aduitorium.
