Weekend Wrap-up: October 1-2

1. If you've never walked the Pumpkin Path Extravaganza in Mahone Bay then this should be the year!Roughly 150 pumpkins are beautifully carved, lit and arranged along a path just behind the famous churches. It's magical, for both kids and adults. My son uses it as an opportunity to wear a costume and he's not alone! It starts tonight and runs until Sunday. The scarecrow festival is also on in Mahone Bay this weekend. 2. CIBC Run for the Cure . Such a great fundraising event to get your family involved in! 3. Take Part in ART . A great day at Alderney Library! 4. Discover the Symphony! Free admission to the Discovery Centre and a chance to learn more about the Symphony, children even get to touch the instruments with the "petting zoo". ...
