Weekend Wrap-up: September 5-6, 2015

1. This weekend is your last chance to see Shakespeare By the Sea’s performance of Sleeping Beauty! It’s a fun 1980’s take on the classic story that includes some great songs, lots of laughs and a prince and princess like no other!

3. Have you ever wanted to milk a cow or help a blacksmith? Now is your chance. It’s Participation Days at Ross Farm where your whole family can step back in time and do some of the every day work from the 1800’s.

4. The Fringe Festival is back! It’s the largest theatre festival in Atlantic Canada and with some great family friendly performances planned such as “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”, it’s definitely worth checking out.

5. Calling all dog lovers! The Halifax Kennel Club’s Dog Show is on this weekend. Come meet the breeds and check out the all breed shows, obedience trials and more!
