NEW WORK

COLCHESTER/CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Highway 104

The westbound lane of Highway 104 from Londonderry to Westchester Station, about 19 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for paving, patching, widening, installation of rumble strips and guardrail beginning Monday, May 2, with an estimated completion date of Wednesday, Aug. 31.

Work takes place from dawn to dusk.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 101 Bridge

Highway 101 bridge over Highway 102, near Bedford, will be reduced to one lane on both the inbound and outbound lanes for repairs.

This is weekend work only. Work will start on Saturday, April 30, with an estimated completion date of Friday, July 15. This Saturday the work begins at 7 a.m. until Monday at 6 a.m.

After this weekend work will start on Fridays at 6 p.m. and end on Mondays at 6 a.m.

CONTINUING WORK

DIGBY COUNTY: Salmon River Bridge

The Salmon River Bridge on Trunk 1 in Salmon River is reduced to one lane for repairs until further notice.

The bridge has an 18 tonne weight restriction. Vehicles over 18 tonnes must use the detour route on Salmon River Road, Exit 32, Highway 101 to Exit 31.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Crowdis Bridge

Crowdis Bridge is closed until further notice for repairs. A detour is available via Crowdis Cross, West Big Intervale, and Hatchery roads.

INVERNESS COUNTY: West Lake Ainslie Road

The Hayes River Bridge on West Lake Ainslie Road has a 15 tonne weight restriction.

VICTORIA COUNTY: Gillis Bridge

Gillis Bridge, on North Branch Road, just past Uisge Bàn (USH-KA BAN) Falls Provincial Park, is closed until further notice.

Access to the park is not affected.
