The new Starbucks Coffee, located at 936 Bedford Highway, will also offer customers a drive-thru.

Many residents of Bedford are anxiously awaiting the grand opening of the new Starbucks.

The Bedford Beacon did some investigating but came up empty-handed.

Unfortunately, a new Starbucks cannot reveal to the public when it will be open for business. Apparently it goes against “company policy.”

Coffee drinkers will just have to keep their eyes open for the “Grand Opening” sign to show up on the shop window.

Although the coffee shop looks ready for business, the Bedford Beacon was told that often it looks ready to the public, peering in through the windows, but in reality there are still months to go before the final touches are complete.

The lights are on, the tables and chairs are placed in an orderly fashion, and the counter looks ready for business.

But for those ready for that first sip of Starbucks coffee, the wait is still on.

The new Starbucks is located at 936 Bedford Highway, in the old Dairy Queen location.
