White Out Conditions – Cabot Trail, Cabot Trail, N.S.

The RCMP wish to advise that there are extremely dangerous white-out conditions on the Cabot Trail, especially near the communities of Point Cross and Cheticamp.

At present, there are two vehicles stuck in the middle of the road near the 14500 block of Point Cross.

White out conditions are preventing the RCMP from getting out of their vehicles to assist these stuck motorists.

TIR has been advised and will be attending to assist, however it is strongly recommended that motorists avoid the Cabot Trail, specifically in this area, until further notice.
