Windsor District RCMP are currently at the scene of a tractor trailer crash on Highway #14 in Brooklyn.

At approximately 9 a.m. this morning, Windsor District RCMP, Emergency Health Services (EHS), Brooklyn Fire and Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal responded to a report of a single vehicle rollover involving a tractor trailer.

Preliminary investigation determined that the driver was traveling east on Highway #14 when he lost control of his vehicle. He was taken to the Hants Community Hospital as a precautionary measure.

RCMP wish to advise the motoring public that the eastbound lane is currently shut down and traffic is being re-routed through Mantua, Hants County. It is estimated traffic will be affected for approximately 2 hours while the truck and its load are removed. RCMP believe a shift in the load being carried may have been a factor in the crash. The investigation is continuing.
