Windsor Junction Road – Road Closure

THIS WORK WAS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, OCT. 21. IT WILL NOW TAKE PLACE ON SUNDAY, OCT. 22, DUE TO THE IMPENDING BAD WEATHER EXPECTED ON SATURDAY. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Windsor Junction Road will be closed between Cobequid Road and Winley Drive on Sunday, Oct. 23 while CN Rail crews repair a rail crossing. Crews will be on site from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Motorists are asked to follow the signed detour or use an alternative route whenever possible. Crews will accommodate access for pedestrians.  The municipality and CN Rail apologize in advance for any inconvenience this closure or the work may cause. Source: Release
