Woman Charged In Robbery

From Halifax Regional Police Service:

“An arrest has been made and charges will be laid in relation to a robbery at a Halifax business on October 2.

At 9:44 p.m., a female entered Daily Sweets at 2860 Oxford Street and threatened the clerk with a knife while demanding cash. She fled without obtaining anything and no one was injured during the incident.

As a result of the investigation, the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigative Section arrested a 32-year-old Halifax woman on October 3 at 3:25 p.m. without incident.  She is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today facing robbery and weapons charges.”
