Woman Dragged From Vehicle, Left On Road

At 9:50 pm. West members responded to Hwy. 102 at the Kearney Lake. Rd. inbound ramp to a report of a female being dragged from a vehicle by another female and left on the side of the road.

Officers located a very intoxicated 37 yr. old female at the scene.  She had minor abrasions from lying on the side of the road and was cleared at the scene by EHS.  Officers learned that the female operating the vehicle is known to her.  The vehicle involved and the 41 yr. old female driver were located in the North end of Halifax.  The driver was questioned by investigators.   Officers learned that a 1 yr. old and 11 yr. old were in the vehicle at the time of the incident.  Both were unharmed. It appears that the passenger may have attempted to exit the vehicle as it was in motion possibly endangering the children.  This investigation is ongoing and it unknown at this time if criminal charges will be laid.
