Woman faces charges after search, Stellarton, N.S.

Charges are pending against an adult female after a search in Stellarton, Nova Scotia.

On September 10th, 2014 at approximately 07:30 a.m., the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (PCISCEU), with the assistance of the Stellarton Police Service, executed a search warrant at a residence on Maple Street.

A 26-year-old female was arrested without incident. Police seized 72 grams of cocaine, 18 grams of MDMA (ecstasy), 30 grams of marijuana, 8 grams of psilocybin (magic mushrooms) and a quantity of cash.

The female was released from custody and will appear in Pictou Provincial Court on December 15th, 2014 on 3 charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine, marijuana and the MDMA) and one charge of possession of a controlled substance (psilocybin) under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. The investigation continues.
