A woman faces drug charges after a traffic stop last night in Dartmouth.
At 8:45 p.m., officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit conducted a traffic stop in the 0-100 block of Everette Street. The female driver was arrested at the scene and a subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cocaine, lysergic acid diethylamide, or LSD, ecstasy and marijuana.
A 26-year-old woman from Dartmouth is facing four counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. She was released from custody and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date.
