At 7:30 a.m., police responded to a vehicle/pedestrian collision at 70 Lacewood Drive in Halifax. A 33-year-old woman crossing Lacewood Drive in a marked crosswalk was hit by a vehicle driven by a 39-year-old man exiting a business parking lot. She suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital. The matter remains under investigation and no charges have been laid at this time.
 
Police remind motorists and pedestrian that road conditions are deteriorating due to the storm. Please slow down, especially when approaching intersections, give yourself extra time to get to your destination, and watch out for pedestrians.
