Woman robbed by man with walking stick near NSCC

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Dartmouth yesterday morning.

At approximately 10 a.m. police responded to a robbery in progress in the parking lot near 80 Mawiomi Place. A man with a walking stick approached a woman who was exiting her vehicle, threatened her and demanded her keys. The suspect fled the area empty-handed. The woman was not physically injured.

The suspect is described as a man in his 40s to 50s, approximately 5’7″ tall with a slim build, salt and pepper hair and a beard. He was wearing a khaki-coloured hat, a dark long-sleeved shirt, blue sunglasses and a face mask.
